Jesus on the Initiatic Path and Our Twelve Spiritual Rights1.
Our spiritual rights are those virtuous bestowals from the Divine One, our Creator, our Source, that allow us to live righteous lives. Our rights allow us to live righteously.
♥To love God and to love one another and all created beings.
That is a right. It’s also a command, but it’s a right. We have the right to do this and no one can take that right away from us—to love God and to love one another and all created beings.
♥To live, move and have our being in the light of our Divine Presence.
Affirm with beloved Magda her mantra: "I live and move and have my being in a living, liquid-crystal diamond of light". We have a right to do this, to feel and experience this. No one can take that away from us. It is our right.
♥To use the free will vouchsafed to us to glorify God and magnify the Lord.
We choose, through free will—it’s a choice, a conscious choice—to glorify God and magnify the Lord. God vouchsafed to us this free will, and it’s our right to use that free will virtuously, graciously, honourably as sons and daughters of God. This is really our purpose, to glorify God and magnify the Lord. And whatever your talents, your gifts, your qualifications are through school, through higher education, through employment, if you can use those talents, gifts and graces to glorify God and magnify the Lord, you will fulfil your destiny.
♥ To co-create with our Creator and with other co-creators.
God is the original Creator, yet we, as sons and daughters of God, are co-creators. God vouchsafed to us free will to co-create with him/her. So this is a right; we have a right to co-create. We are sons and daughters of God created in his/her image and likeness. So if we’re created in the image and likeness of God, don’t you think God would give us this ability to co-create? .
♥To experience God’s beautiful creation within all of nature.
It’s our right to experience God’s beautiful creation within the natural order because God created it for us. You remember that in the Bible it says that God created the natural world in the first five days, then he created man and then woman on the sixth day, and then he rested on the seventh day. He created the natural world before he created his sons and daughters so that we could live in that natural world. So it’s our right to experience this.
♥To be loved, appreciated, touched and valued for who we are.
Every little baby has to be loved, appreciated, touched and valued. And we as adults have a right to be touched, loved, appreciated, valued. Touch is a type of love expressed. It’s a physical sensation of appreciation through the melding of two hearts and two auras. As brothers and sisters on the path, we are all in this together. We’re all on the initiatic path. We are all striving in the same dynamic through our daily tests and initiations. We’re going through it together. We’re going to get through it together. We do it more easily together. So we support one another, we love one another. We all have the right to be loved, appreciated, told what we’re doing well rather than all the negative stuff.
♥To give our gifts and talents and thereby to bless others and all life.
This is a right, to give our gifts and talents. We encourage everyone to give their gifts and to share their talents, because it’s important. God empowered us in the beginning, yet we’ve been kind of dumbed down by civilization [and the current educational system] to be in a suppressed mode. So we have to rise out of that, have our metamorphosis and be liberated.
♥To speak the truth and to speak our truth without fear of denigration.
Everyone has a voice; everyone has talents and gifts, and we have a right to speak the truth and our [own] truth. Jesus put the truth first, because what’s more important than our truth, our temporal little truths, is The Truth, the Higher Truth. We can access the truth by being true to ourselves, being true to our Higher Selves. And then, through that 'truth spirit' that we enter, which is vital and real, we can then access what people call "my truth" or "our truth", which is a part of the greater truth.
♥To walk a path of light, the path of initiation and to be initiated by the Divine One.
We have a right to walk this path of initiation,[under the aegis of Serapis Bey]. We have a right to be initiated, and the masters also have a right to initiate us. If we put ourselves in juxtaposition with them, if we call to them and ask for blessings and spiritual graces, they have a right to require us to use those graces and that light virtuously rather than for personal self-gain, for ego. So we have a right to walk this path of light, the path of initiation, and to be initiated by the Divine One.
♥ We have the right to freely associate with others of like heart, mind and soul, especially in the sacred bonds of community.
To freely associate—this is one of the things that our founding fathers in the United States afforded us. We have the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights includes freedom of religion, freedom to bear arms, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom to peaceably assemble, which is association.
♥To learn, to grow, to evolve, to self-discover and to realize our highest potential.
We all have these rights. They’re etched in the very essence of our being. We have to learn, we have to grow, we have to evolve and we have to self-discover, because if we don’t, we’re not making progress and we might as well not be alive. Being alive means we have the inner urge and the inner desire to learn, to grow, to evolve, to self-discover like children, who are naturally inquisitive. And we usually lose some of that as we age. We have to be childlike, as Jesus said, so that we have that inquisitiveness again.
And finally,
♥We have the right to ascend and return to our natal state of perfect beingness with our Source, with God.
We have the right to ascend. So if you think that somehow you are not worthy to ascend at the close of this life, you have to dissolve and transmute that sense of unworthiness: “I’m not good enough. I’m not holy enough. I’m not spiritual enough.” Because, guess what? We’re all made in the same image and likeness, unique in our individuality, but born of the same Spirit and essence. And we all have a right to return to the heart of God through the spiritual initiatic path and to experience and maintain that state of oneness.
And once you’ve had the illumination, the reconnection (as some call it) and the quickening, it’s a matter of sustaining that experience of oneness.
