Do your kids like coloring in? If so, here’s a quick and easy way to add some spirituality to their days! Together come up with a spiritual statement and write it (or have them do so if they are able) in block letters on a piece of white paper.
My son has 3 of them at the moment:
“Remember your angels!” (my idea)
“I am kind!” (his statement) (see above)
“Thoughts become things…” (a sentence he was inspired with from Unveiled Mysteries)
Decorate it with their choice of border, drawing or even print out a suitable picture to color in from the internet (Google them) and glue it on. Set the colored pencils to work to create a mini masterpiece!
The final piece can be laminated for lasting value, either by yourself if you own a laminator or by your local office store. Fix to your wall with Blu-tack or some other adhesive of choice. Sit back together and admire your personalized spiritual wall art!
Tell us! What do you like doing to add a touch of spirituality to your kid’s lives?
I blog on spiritual parenting and include teachings that have come through The Hearts Center wherever possible.
