Today we sample some wonderful Heartstreams delivered in 2008 on the topic of children, as it relates to parenting.
Mothers have a natural calling or instinct to visualize their children as beautiful and perfect, for they were conceived in love and may more easily grow to express and fulfill their divine plan if nurtured in a safe and loving home environment. However, fathers and men of all ages may also partake of this sacred science through maintaining a positive mental and emotional attitude toward their children, training their vision on the God-good within them and thereby bestowing great blessings upon them.

If you would train your children as well as the inner children of your soul to be obedient to the voice of God, teach them this sacred command and prayer.*
*“Speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth!”
- El Morya, June 25, 2008
When you work within this circle of family and give and receive in love and fellowship and in harmony, there is the creation of sacred bonds, of a blending of your auras through the communication that occurs through the sharing of values, of your time together, your meals, your projects, your struggles, your vacation and holiday time. All of this is for the purpose of the working out of your karma and the fulfilment of your dharma within the sacred circle of life. Each of you has a story to tell of the interactions, the blessings, the graces that have flowed to you through your family time. Each of you also has the experience of lessons learned through the process of evolution and what you have undergone in the way of challenges, initiations and, hopefully, of the overcoming of these tests through grace, through forgiveness and through joy.
- Beloved Saint Germain, August 9, 2008
In a previous generation, one whom some of you have known as Art Linkletter said that “children say the darndest things.” Well, you can imagine, blessed ones, how many times Joseph and I laughed at the great spiritual thoughts that were expressed through the very mouth of our Son. For the wisdom of the Christ through this little form did often surprise us, and we took to heart that which he said, even at times receiving a rebuke of ourselves for our thought patterns or for elements of our consciousness that were not quite in alignment with the divine stars to fully accommodate his mission. Some of you have had wise children that have also played upon your soul and heart, speaking words of truth when you least expected—some cosmic quip to be conveyed that would, if you allowed, cause a shift in your awareness to move you into a greater and deeper understanding of your path and of your responsibility to your child.
