As the New Year rolls in, we as parents can assess how we are doing and what we could do better. By applying the spiritual teaching of the master Omraam to our parenting, we can strive to make the first 12 days of the year an example and representative of what we desire for the following 12 months of the year.
What do you desire to accomplish in the realm of parenting for 2016? What have you done well thus far and what could be improved?
Perhaps it is your own example of walking the spiritual path that you desire to make even more transparent to your children? They look to you for everything, not just the material things.
Perhaps you desire to be more vocal with your children about the spiritual side of life, in which you believe? Through loving comments and gentle reminders, they will thus be reminded of their divine nature and purpose in life.
Or perhaps you desire to increase the light of love within your own heart, knowing that there is no greater example of light than the reality of God within you, the one closest to them, who loves them most.
As the New Year rolls in and you make your New Year’s resolutions and clear out last year’s stuff, remember also to consider your children and your spiritual life.
God’s blessing to you and yours as you strive towards greater self-mastery, and allow the full perfection of the Self, the great God-Self, to manifest through you.
Happy 2016 my beloved fellow parents!
Chime in! Do you have any spiritual goals or parenting goals for 2016?
